Report from
the on-site rescuer... "I was told that they are a bunch of cats on one of the reserves near Chilliwack. I went to one last night and knocked on one of the doors offering to spay/neuter the cats. The woman said they were her sister's son's cats and she would have to ask him. I gave her my phone number so if I don't hear back in a day or two, I will make another visit. I put down some food so that the cats would come out of hiding. There were several adults and about 5 older kittens. There were also some timid ones who were hiding and ran as I approached them. I hope they will allow me to help these cats. I can trap/neuter/ release/ feed the feral ones as well."
The trapper/rescuer will be doing all the work and AAS will be paying all the bills. We are hoping that we will be allowed to rehome the tame cats. Please let us know if you can foster or adopt one of these reserve cats before they are dead as happens to all of them sooner or later, usually sooner from disease or predators.
Make a donation to AAS marked "For Cats" and we will apply your donation to cat bills."
