Please read through the discussion paper at http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wildlifeactreview , especially the sections that concern you the most. Comments can be posted at http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wildlifeactreview/feedback/6.html until June30, 2007. The new Wildlife Act is to come into effect in 2008 so please make your opinions known and pass on to interested friends and family.

I will be posting my comments early next week, mainly regarding the inhumane aspect of Spring Bear Hunt, cancellation of the Grizzly Hunt, improving access and rules for bear rehab and improving enforcement of fines for those people who knowingly or unknowingly attract bears to their homes and neighbourhoods.
