I wonder how long it will take for the masses to understand that there can't be use without abuse? Until that sinks in, millions of animals will suffer at our hands, sometimes in obvious and deliberate ways, sometimes in ways that are hard for the average person to see as abuse.

The mere using of another sentient being is abuse because humans have no moral right to use other species. We do though, have the power to own and use other species.

When will the penny drop for the millions who wail and weep at the cruelty they see exposed, but who go on eating animals and defending their use -- as long as the use does not involve cruelty, as if there is any way to control all the misuse of billions of animals by humans, for money or for pleasure.

When will the necessary critical perception mass be reached that they, themselves, and their "love" of animals and their refusal to give up all the things that animals provide them, are the reason that billions of animals suffer? Please, don't wail to me if you still eat meat.

By the way, we don't need lawns. Who doesn't know by know that lawns are the new smoking?
