The first minutes enough to break my heart

Unfortunately, the link works. I say 'unfortunately' because the video breaks my heart. Actually, I only watched the first few minutes - exactly enough to prove that humans in need of validation and power are again causing the suffering and death of millions of animals.

This need for prestige seems to be the driving force behind a lot of ills in our world, be they for a variety of reasons: political, religious, vanity.

There appears to be no end of humans who will spend their years trying to prove their prowess at the expense of other humans or animals. If these people are themselves religious, I wonder how they think they will get into their heaven. If they aren't, I wonder if, on their deathbed, they will feel satisfaction with a job well done and know they truly proved they were better than the next guy because they won some medals and ribbons.

Where is the 'Ghost of Christmases Past' when we need him?
