What do I think? I think it's brilliant!
In Response To: Animals Are "Free" Not "Wild" ()

John Maynard Keynes wrote that ideas, “both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed the world is ruled by little else.”

And ideas are expressed with words. And words influence the way we think. I hope I never call a free creature "wild" again.

I look forward to the day when animal users are laughed to scorn when they use words like welfare and euthanasia and shelter. Comedian George Carlin mocked the false words used by governments to obscure the repellancy of their actions. What the animals need is a George Carlin.

What might have George Carlin said if he had known about the culture of euphemism in the animal-welfare/disposal industry? *LINK*
This would truly be paradise
