Teens find 13 dead sled dogs

Some teenagers in St. Michel des Saints, up east of Mont Tremblant, are going to have a tough time getting this image out of their heads -- they found the bodies of 13 Husky dogs in a sandpit near the town.

The dogs were in piles of two or three. Some had their entrails hanging out, others were missing eyes.

The St Michel area is home to one of Quebec's biggest dog sled races each winter.

The SPCA says it could have been someone in the dog racing industry who didn't want to feed the dogs during the summer.
