Can you help out at the
Vancouver Sun Run on April 19?

Dear Animal,

Thank you for taking action to help bears. I want to invite you to join us at the 10K Vancouver Sun Run on April 19. As part of our campaign to end trophy hunting of bears along the BC Coast and throughout the Great Bear Rainforest, HSI Canada is rounding up a team of grizzly bears to run for their lives!

Spring trophy hunting season is well underway and we need you to help raise awareness about this important issue. The Sun Run is one of the largest events in Vancouver, attracting more than 50,000 participants each year. This is your opportunity to give voice to the bears being killed out of sight in the remote regions of BC.

The trophy hunting of bears is continuing only because the provincial government refuses to end this atrocity. As a British Columbian, it is critical now—just weeks before the provincial election—that you show your support for bears. We need you to join the team!

As a supporter of our campaign to end trophy hunting, you can run as a "bear" with a target and "End Trophy Bear Hunting" on your chest. The Sun Run is both a "fun run" and a competitive race, so you can walk or run to show Vancouver that you care about bears. Click here to register for the Sun Run as an individual.

Not ready for the 10k? You can still help! We need lots of volunteers to hand out leaflets on the sidelines.
