Vicious dog control...interesting...My argument is 'who has the authority'...to say a dog is vicious without evidence...I mean 'real' evidence?
What is vicious? A fang-bank in the snow? SAYS WHO? [SPCA dog assessors/seizers] with a week's training?
A reason for euthanization is supposed to be if a dog bites a human...or of course runs rabidly at other dogs without control and eats them! There is supposed to be an element of 'common sense' and a use of 'discretion' when laws are applied surely? There has to be' 'Duty of Care' in a profession to put a stop to the [SPCA employees] of the world.
I appreciate there are terrible dog owners but to punish the animal is unconcionable. Would they use these standards for children?
If not...why not?
