Lorraine Gregory sounds very convincing but I can hardly believe she is talking about the owners of the Puppy Patch, no matter how convincing she sounds. How about dogs barking and howling and crying in -20 cold and at night with coyotes coming around?
And what about those open pens? If that's not gross cruelty what is? Imagine...no shelter at all from rain, snow, freezing sleet, and blasting sun. It's hard to imagine so much cruelty inflicted on the poor little mites. And they did this to dogs for five years! And the SPCA knew all about it for five years and now they're heroes? Give me a break!
I've lived in the Okanagon for a long time and I've reported puppy mills and starving horses and cows and many animals to the SPCA and they were always on the side of the puppy mills telling me that everything was fine. I beg your pardon!! I've seen all this before when the SPCA decides to look humane and they do what they should have done long before and get a lot of attention and a lot of donations and then half the time they kill the animals they "rescued".
As for the horses at the Puppy Patch - why would they look after them? Look at the way they treated the dogs... No one involved in the mess in the Okanagan can be trusted.... not the puppy mill owners or the SPCA. JMO
