I find this whole story perplexing. Why did the police not attend and go over and speak to the people who did the slaughtering? I would think that this killing of a lamb in a residential area is illegal. I know if this happened in my neighbourhood this would really be something. I mean does this happen alot in this residential area that it is no big deal? What is Animal Services? The BCSPCA? If they were contacted they have an obligation to investigate and find out if this lamb died in a humane manner.

If this was my neighbourhood I would certainly take this as far as I could. I would write a letter to my MLA if I did not get any satisfaction from the police or SPCA. I might also contact the media, Global television, perhaps
Otherwise this will happen again. What do they do at Christmas?
