Mr Daniell is a much-needed new broom at the BC SPCA and we are glad that he is using it to sweep out some dusty old ignored abuse cases. He's shown he means business. His, we were going to say restructuring of the BC SPCA's Cruelty Investigations department but there was no structure to restructure so we will say, his creation of a Cruelty Investigations department has been made at an impressive pace.

We are concerned that several of the key members of this department are old SPCA lags with decades of experience disposing of animals and ignoring cruelty, and we are concerned that some of them will be a discredit to his efforts, but we sincerely wish him continued success.
