Heads should roll, but will they?
In Response To: Cockfighting in Abbotsford ()

"After three days, Fullerton decided something had to be done and phoned the SPCA. Worried that it might happen again, Fullerton finally contacted police June 22."

Why did Mr Fullerton have to contact the police almost a month after reporting it to the Abbotsford SPCA? Did Abbotsford Manager Joann Halligan tell Helen York, her BC SPCA Senior Animal Protection Officer? Did Halligan or York tell Craig Daniell, BC SPCA Manager of Cruelty Investigations?

Why, almost a month after telling the police, who normally would report an incident like this to the BC SPCA, did Mr Fullerton have to go to the media?

Heads should roll at the SPCA over this one, but will they, or will the SPCA send in Lorie Chortyk, its media mouth-piece, and go into cover-up mode, obscuring how it ignores complaints of severe cruelty....again?

It is up to the Craig Daniell, the new man at the SPCA, to set the course. Will he choose new honesty or old suppression and evasion?
