Gail Moerkerken with Noah's Wish - from the forest fires front lines

Hi all,

So much to say but very little time to say it all. I have just returned home from Kelowna/Kamloops and will head back to Kelowna on Wednesday afternoon as the latest report is not encouraging.

Noah's Wish continues to do incredible work for all animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, lamas, alpacas, horses, pigs, chickens, cattle and turkeys.

In Kelowna, Noah's Wish is positioned at the Parkinson Recreation Centre. One of two registration areas for evacuees. This location has enabled Noah's Wish to be front line with animal intake as people come to register for assistance and rescue requests.

I am beyond tired at this moment and emotions run very high. There has been a 15 minute break in this e-mail as I just received a call from an evacuee who has her horses in Kamloops. She called to say thank you for all the assistance that Noah's Wish provided and now the tears are flowing.....
