More Trouble for the van Dongens

Another of agriculture minister John van Dongen's family members is under investigation by the SPCA. The minister's father, QC van Dongen, had been charged just this week with two counts of animal abuse from a case in April. Now an uncle is being investigated for animal abuse. But in this latest case, the SPCA hasn't been able to find the horse suspected of being abused. The SPCA says it will be back and if the uncle continues to be uncooperative, he could be charged with obstruction.
