Will Nanaimo Serval breeder do what's right and stop breeding these exotic cats?

I think it's disgusting that someone could breed an exotic animal like these Servals, and then not do their utmost to help when one is in need. For almost a week the media was reporting that Loki came from Nanaimo, but nobody ever came forward accepting responsibility. And today in the Vancouver Sun, they finally identified the breeder as Ingrid Rustad, who said she had no idea what should be done with Loki. No offers to take him back, just a weak comment about helping the SPCA find somewhere for him. But where? It's hard enough to find good suitable homes for cats and dogs, let alone an African Serval. And because Rustad had Loki de-clawed,which many vets believe is barbaric and cruel, he cannot even go to a sanctuary now because he couldn't defend himself. The only responsible thing Rustad could do, would be to take Loki back permanently and be his forever home, like some rescue groups do with unadoptable dogs.
This is a prime example as to why we need to ban the breeding and trade of exotic animals.
