Here is a way for us to DIRECTLY access Paul Martin and express our ardent desire that Bill C10(b) be reintroduced and passed—again—to the Senate UNAMENDED!!!!

Please make the, effort to impress upon the Martin Government that Canadians CARE about animals; that this bill is a priority for us!

One thing in our favour is that he has appointed Anne McLellen as deputy Prime Minister and she is an ardent supporter and the original person who introduced this bill to Parliament back in 1998! She is on our side!

Please: read the instructions –CAREFULLY—TO ENSURE BEING HEARD!

Q&A with the PM.....and you.

Global National is doing a year-end interview with Canada's new Prime Minister and you get to ask the questions.

Global National Ottawa Bureau Chief David Vienneau and CanWest News Service Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife want to hear what questions you would like to ask the Prime Minister. They plan to sift through the questions you offer, pick a representative sample, and then put them to the Prime Minister in the interview which will air in the regular Global National with Kevin Newman spot on December 25.

Here’s how to submit your question:

» Send the question via email to: questionperiod@canada.com

» Include your name and daytime phone number, including area code

» In writing, give permission for Global National with Kevin Newman to use your name on the air if your question is selected

» The deadline to submit a question is Thursday, December 18.

When it comes to the questions, there are no hard-and-fast rules, but Global National suggests they deal with important national issues.

Question Period with Prime Minister Paul Martin will be broadcast on Christmas Day in the regular Global National with Kevin Newman time slot.
