Sadly, we sometimes get to the point where we are feeling as if all our work, letters and efforts are getting us nowhere, and nobody out there is listening to truth and reason. So many times we have it proven to us that ignorant minds are closed minds, and that we are simply preaching to the converted.
But we cannot relent. Even if one person learns from us, that is progress.
Einstien said it so well: "Great Spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtfully submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."
Despite the setbacks, frustrations and roadblocks from those mediocre minds, we are making inroads that would never have been formed without our efforts.
We are still the most effective voice for animals.
