I wouldn't believe it either. The media are, as usual, just trying to stir the pot. Just the other day I was watching the CBC news, which was doing a report on the seal hunt, and they claim that the wearing of fur is making a big resurrection.

They forgot to mention that the wearing of baby white seal fur was virtually eliminated because Europe, which was the biggest buyer, stopped buying, and I know by dozens of articles written by the people in the know, the real truth tellers, that it hasn't come back and never will.

CBC being owned by the Canadian Government, the same government that rule the DFO, that do the slaughter, want us to believe this because they are told to say this, severely warping the truth.

The real reason, and the only reason they want to kill 1.5 million seals in the next three years is that they claim it's the only way to get the cod fish back, when we know all too well that it's not the seals that took them out, but that it was the greedy fishermen and the mis-management of the cod industry by the DFO. Besides, if they kill 350,000 seals, does anyone really believe that there is a market for that many pelts?

This is just one example of the public being misled. The media are irresponsible. Don't be fooled, just get the facts from the ones who really know, like Sea Shepherd or PETA, but definitely don't believe the government or the media, especially the media.
