I was at the auction on Sunday and sadly I didn't get to stay the entire day BUT the SPCA horses were there. They didn't have numbers on them which would indicate they weren't being put through BUT what did amaze me was the shape these horses were in, one was still very thin, too thin, they were ratty and their feet in terrible shape. You would think that they would be cleaned up a little. They were all ponies and adorable but a good brushing and a hoof trim would have benefited the animals greatly. I was sad to see the shape they were in, considering they were 'rescued'.
