More killing the "rescued" by the SPCA in Kelowna? Dead dogs are just so much collateral damage to the SPCA

Eight dogs have been seized from a home on Kelowna's Westside by the SPCA. Officials say the dogs are in very poor condition and need a lot of attention. They were removed from a home in Lakeview Heights. SPCA investigator Brad Kuich says the animals appear to have a variety of health concerns and are very wary of humans. "There was a host of concerns including long nails, hyperthyroid conditions, dogs had old injuries, with scarring on their faces and bodies and physical and emotional problems. It appears the dogs were physically abused." The owner denies she abused the dogs and she wants them back. The SPCA says it hopes to rehabilitate the animals and find them homes. If that doesn't happen they could be destroyed.
