This is one very true story

I am one of the people who called the SPCA after Tasha had been there for less than an hour. I was definitely told that she was to be put down the following morning. There is no denying the truth of this sad story - the actions of the SPCA cannot be refuted this time.
I do not believe the people who relate these horrible cases have a vendetta; they are people who are trying to work for the welfare of animals, and who have experienced this type of horror at the hands of the SPCA over and over again. One can only tolerate the inefficiency, the deception and the bungling so many times before being driven to the point of exasperation. Don't be too quick to point the finger in the wrong direction or to disbelieve what you read here - you may not want to believe us, but sadly these are true tales you are hearing.
