The Short, Happy Story of Nova's Rescue

Nova lived, if you can call it that, of chained in a yard  in minus 30 degrees Celsius in the winter, her water frozen, or non-existent.  In the house she was not allowed in, the sound of parties and fights went common, so perhaps it was best that she wasn't inside with her "family".

This photo of Nova (above) was taken after she was sneaked off her rope and out of her yard and taken to the groomers. Before that, she had to lie out in the open in the rain and freezing cold, matted, dirty, and miserable. She was surrounded by wire and old planks with nails in them.

Her rescue angel came for her when they all moved out and Nova left behind.  Next was a spay, vaccines, grooming and at last - a real home with a real family, a bed in the house, long runs at the river, and as much love as she can lap up. Thank you rescue angel!
