Want to make a difference in “your back yard?”

You’re invited to join a new local group whose goals are to spay and neuter homeless cats, socialize and re-home young kittens, and set up feeding programs to prevent starvation.

Comox Valley residents have already contacted Kitty Cat PALS to get help with groups of homeless cats. As funds become available, felines will be spayed and neutered to prevent over-population.

When cats are in areas deemed unsafe, the group relies on relocation areas such as farms and larger properties offered by the community. Young kittens need foster homes until they are old enough to be placed in forever homes.

Help is needed and appreciated in many forms — cash donations, cat and kitten food donations, and volunteer time.

Cheques can be sent to Kitty Cat PALS, P.O. Box 61, Lazo, BC, V0R 2K0. Call 250-792-2090, or e-mail kittycatpals@hotmail.com for pickup of food, and for more information on volunteer positions.
