I agree....killing is killing. There has got to be an emphasis on not killing, and not using cute words to describe this. (I have heard the same argument over corporal punishment of children; we are not hitting our children, we are 'spanking' them, like that somehow makes everything okay).
How can killing be kind? Those animals I'm sure would wish not to be born at all. What animal wants to come into the world, only to be killed?
