Thanks to everyone on the hunt for a sanctuary for these dogs. We have found it! The dogs will be staying with a couple who are not working during the holiday season.

These dogs have endeared themselves to all who have met them. They are a bonded pair who snuggle together and drink water from the same bowl. I'm told that "he" won't settle at night until "she" is settled; then he sighs and closes his eyes.

They have some minor health concerns which will have veterinary attention in the next two days. We question the need for euthanasia if only for human convenience.

We look towards the next dog who needs our help... a 2 year old springer with megaesophagus who is making too much of a mess and the owners have holiday parties to attend.
