AAS said that blaming the public for breeding and not sterilizing their pets was dishonest, when the agency saying it sold sexually intact animals and allowed its staff to breed and sell animals.

AAS said that unlimited surrender encouraged a culture of pet abandonment.

Far more educated and credible people than AAS said the same thing, decades ago, but it is so simple and apparent that even AAS quickly figured it out.
