$2,000 fine and 6 months in jail is a joke for a brutal killing of an innocent animal. It is time again to lobby politicians to pass the anti-cruelty bill. Personally I have emailed and spoken with MP Art Hanger (Calgary N.E.) about this bill and he will not give any response. This is highly surprising because of his claim to be concerned with the ever increasing violence and laughable punishments on crimes against humans. It is historically known that most induviduals who commit atrocities against humans started with animals.
