Howie is a six year old terrier mix (about 65lbs) who gets along with
everyone. He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and all people. He assumes the
whole world is his friend! Howie was found as a stray dog in the Okanagan,
running on a highway. Someone had attempted to neuter him themselves
(unfortunately an all too-common practice in rural areas, especially for
cats).

He is healthy now, and needs a home where he will not be left alone all day.
He has abandonment fears due to his past, and for this reason he needs a
special home where he will be included in the daily activities. Howie is a
very cheerful dog, and is always ready for an adventure, but at home with
you he is also a real couch potato.
