Animal welfare groups and meat

A search of both of Mark Abernathy's restaurant's menus found no foie gras. Loca Luna does not have veal, but Abernathy's Italian restaurant, Bene Vita, has a lot of veal. Abernathy is truly to be congratulated on joining in this enlightening ban of Canadian seaford campaign, and for not serving foie gras, but further enlightenment about veal appears to be needed.

It is to be hoped that all animal welfare groups will think more deeply about associations with restaurants that serve veal or foie gras, or in fact, the flesh or food products of all animals who have suffered to provide meals and money.
