We have taken in a cat (running around outside)from our neighbours. It is a little male kitty, maybe three - four(?) months old. This cat has obviously been tortured (including possibly both back legs broken at one time.), and the owners are already well known for their horrendous treatment of their child. This kitty attacks ANYTHING within reach, and has obviously severe mental problems. We have already rescued one tortured cat and rehabilitated it, but this one is beyond what we can do. We currently have it in a cat cage - we let it out when we put our kitties upstairs because it goes after them (and us.) We've had it since yesterday. My daughter doesn't want it going to the spca because they might kill it - "unadoptable." My question to you folks is, is there someone in our area, or who can come to our area, and get this kitty for rehabilitation? We have no vehicle, and cannot transport it to a helper. We have basically stolen this cat from them, but we really don't care - it needs love, not violence. Any help for this kitty would be very appreciated.
