Albert is a 9 yr old neutered male purebred chocolate lab, who's owner is terminally ill.

He has excellent house manners, is fine with cats and older children, and has no major health concerns I'm aware of. No signs of arthritis or hip problems for this large, gentle, boy. Albert is submissive with other dogs, and shows no aggression.

He does have some anxiety around traffic and pedestrians, because he's been kept in a house and his own yard for a few years. Albert needs some regular exercise and exposure to different places, to help him relax when he's away from home. Albert heels on leash, knows some sign language, can count, and is very smart.

I'd prefer to find him his forever home as opposed to fostering, because he's lived with his current guardian since he was an 8 wk pup and one change will be hard enough on Albert.
Albert needs a home by Feb 25th.
