The Chilliwack pound has asked us for help with two abandoned 10-wk old cross puppies. As the manager says, pound cells are not good places for puppies and so even though puppies are highly sellable, the manager would rather get them into the rescue network... bless her... unlike some pounds that hang onto their pups for easy sales. The Chilliwack pound manager's adoption standards are also much closer to the rescue network's than some other pounds and "shelters", so puppies might have to stay in the pound for too long.
