From Pet Stores, Internet Sites, Breeders, SPCA's, Rescues, Humane Societies, Pounds etc.... Anyone who owns an animal that wasn't given to them for free bought a life. I purchased four out of five in my home. Even the $200.00 I spent on my horse, just to save her life, was a purchase price.

The $150.00 I charge for a rescued dog is really a purchase price, I call it an adoption fee but really at the end of the day it's the same thing, no I don't make a profit but what's really the difference? It's to cover a cost that I bore. A price to pay.
