There is a plan in the works in Alberta to shoot wolf pups and sterilize their parents- so more elk are left for hunters. The University of Alberta and the Alberta provincial government are endorsing this experiment which will be done
near Rocky Mountain House.

Darcy Whiteside, of the Alberta Sustainable Resource Development branch of the government, states that, "Populations are always in fluctuation and we're looking at different opportunities to manage all willdlife on the landscape."

Such is the arrogance on some members of the human race!
