The gathering will be at 11:45 AM. The rally will start at noon.

Bring placards and banners if you can.

Seals & Sealing Photo Exhibit

A series of 22 seal images captured by photographer Stewart Cook highlighting the beauty of the species; threat of global warming; and the reality of the seal hunt will be featured.

The IFAW Seals Team will be raising awareness about the hunt and IFAWʼs campaign at the information booth adjacent to the photographic display. We will be asking the public to use their voting power to show they care about seals; distributing leaflets with facts & questions for candidates; and informing people about the talk by scientific expert Dr. Dave Lavigne. Our key message is encouraging people to contact their candidate (if they live in Quadra) or their MP if they live elsewhere to ask where they stand on the seal hunt.
