In the world today, Canada is no longer seen as a Peace Keeping Nation. We are internationally known as inhumane slaughterers of defenseless seals. We are not fulfilling our Kyoto commitments. We are one of the most prolific polluters on the planet.

It is the contention of thousands of Canadians, including me, that all these atrocities have a common inception and motivation. That is that we are generally concerned with our own welfare and that of no other sentience. (That is one of the most horrendous statements ever made and its implications are astronomical)

The Seal "Hunt" is a sanctioned hunt. Hundreds of individuals supplement their income by slaughtering the defenseless and innocent. We kill and maim and torture for "sport". Why go on? The list is seemingly endless.

Many days I am humiliated and ashamed to be human.
