5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days? Who knows how long any animal suffered in a trap? *LINK*

There is nothing humane about trapping.

These 'humane standards' are not meaningful. It makes no difference how long it takes an animal to perish in a trap. Who knows how much or how little the animal suffered? Who is to say what length of torture-time is humane, and what is cruel?

Here in the Yukon, trappers are required to check their traps every 5 days for restraining traps, and every 7 days for killing traps. So who knows how long any animal suffered in a trap? Was it 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days? Who knows? Regardless, the end result is the same-- animals die for the sake of human vanity. They are skinned, their flayed bodies tossed in the woods for scavengers to eat.

Times like this, I feel ashamed to be human.
