Canadian Inuit leader Mr Okalik said the murder of seals is humane. Ok, "murder" is my word. He said: "Traditional Inuit laws demand we take care of animals. Historically, we used the harpoon, but after the Europeans' arrival, we began to use rifles. This allows the animal to die immediately and not suffer."
Sure! Right! Hah! How is killing animals taking care of animals?
Some people just don't get it. Killing without necessity is NOT humane, no matter how quickly the animals are killed. Period.
