I am not a Christian, Jew or Muslim. Yet these three religions accept the divine command not to kill as integral to their philosophy.

I would ask adherents of these ideologies to notice that there are no qualifications attached to the supposedly, divine command. That is, it does not say, "Thou shalt not kill unless...."

Is there an "unless" of which I am not aware? Or, is this divine injunction simply a sophism?
