MPs vote on Bill S-203 today!
Today is the day that Members of Parliament are voting on Animal Cruelty Bill S-203. We encourage you to keep calling your MP and ask him or her NOT to support Bill S-203 when it comes up for vote later today in the House of Commons.
In an effort to hold MPs accountable for their votes, the CFHS, IFAW and WSPA have launched DontBeCruel.org, a website created to inform Canadians of the animal cruelty voting results and whether their MP voted in favour of S-203 or against S-203.
Visit www.dontbecruel.org following today’s vote to see how your MP voted (results will be posted within 24 hours of the vote).
Follow-up with your MP after the vote! ‘Thank you’ and ‘disappointment’ letters have been posted on www.DontBeCruel.org and we encourage you to send the appropriate letter to your MP based on the results.
