Calling the bludgeoning or shooting of seals, mostly between two weeks and three months old, as the bask on the ice floes, a "hunt" is absurd. Calling the slaughter of marine mammals a "harvest", thereby equating them with bushels of wheat, is not only linguistic idiocy, it amounts to moral cowardice. M.C. Towle, Vancouver
