Absolutely she is a criminal and about time the SPCA and others did their part to see that charges are laid. BTW I'd like to know what hospital she works at in case I ever get sick and she's having a bad day...

I'm glad this woman was charged. I'm betting this was not the first time she has "lost it" and taken it out on the dog or maybe even her children. I would like to see the out come of this story. Please follow it up.

My neighbour has 2 animals that bark non-stop morning noon and night. I have called the police at 4 am to try and get some peace. The city tells me I can only make 1 formal complaint then I have to track the noise. But yet this guy lets the dogs bark and bark.. Who is more criminally negligent? The woman who takes good care of her dog or this idiot who is destroying my neighbourhood. The SPCA sure has the wrong sence of urgency.

This time the woman losing control of her emotions injured the dog, but it could have just as easily been killed. She obviously needs counseling.

I don't care how frustrated, overtired, overworked a person, mother or otherwise there is NO excuse for her actions..period. She must not have the care of any animal, she must take anger managment before she throws one of her children the same way.

Of course she should be tried and convicted. She abused an animal for no reason other than her own anger issues. I can't believe that she thinks she shouldn't be charged. If it was her kid she threw down would people then see what she is capable of because she is having a bad day? Tupper's discomfort, the vet bill...kids missing Halloween...ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! NO that is not a deterrent, time in jail and an empty pocket book is a deterrent. SPCA should list her as an animal abuser and stop her from owning animals. Social services should have a look too, anger management classes would due well so she doesn't get all "harried" again and take it out on a child.

That is not right for them to treat her as a criminal. She did everything RIGHT and nothing WRONG! I hope the court reaches the same conclusion. I will be praying for Tammy Larson, her family, and of course, Tupper. God Bless the Larson Family.

So this time it's the family dog who gets injured when this silly and immature woman was "overwrought from a long shift". What kind of excuse will Joey Thompson give when Larson throws one of her "fidgety toddlers" against the wall or down the stairs, severely injuring them or killing them ? You sometimes write timely and interesting articles, however you missed the boat on this one; this woman has problems with anger management and decision making. We have a Yorkshire terrier and they are very small dogs, usually between 4 - 5 pounds. So think about it; Larson , who is probably mid 5 feet or so, flung a small dog DOWN 3 steps into his cushion. You can be sure she didn't get down to ground level when she threw him down,so the net result is the dog was flung a lot further than 3 steps. Oxford describes "fling" as "throw, esp. forcefully or hurriedly, hurl", so this was not a gentle setting down of the dog.

You going to let her babysit your kids anytime soon? She is a cowardly criminal who takes it out on a tiny animal. That's called COWARDICE. It is frightening that people like you excuse this...she did everything right?? SHE BROKE HER DOGS LEG! THEN cried about the cost of fixing it, and wanted to KILL the dog. SHE IS SICK, and so are you for supporting that beast. I wonder, they always say that animal abuse in children can be a precursor to sociopathy in adulthood...does animal abuse in adults conclude the same? She sure sounds like a sociopath, rages and then wants everything swept under the carpet. Too bad Tammy...the whole province now knows what type of a despicable person you are. Jail time. The kids aren't safe with a "mother" like her.
