This tragedy could have been averted. The travel alone to this type of climate - extremes in weather and high altitude would stress these creatures. The stingrays were placed in a cramped pool to swim in circles while lots of people stuck their hands in their mouths and on their bodies. No wonder! Guess it is all about the money. There have been a lot of deaths at this zoo. When are we going to figure out that zoos are not the place to 'display any creatures'?
