And some anti-SPCA comment...

I know theses people VERY well, and what the SPCA is telling the public is all lies. I have been in the kennel numerous times and the dogs had very good ventilation. There were doors, windows, and a ceiling ventilation system. These dogs were well taken care of and loved by their owners, this was not just some money making scheme. The dogs were well cared for and were all happy, healthy dogs. The SPCA says that the fecal matter was too much, what do you expect in these kind of weather conditions. The constant snow fall and freezing conditions makes it very hard to see, let alone clean up the feces. The owners have lots of letters, from both people that know them well, to almost strangers, that are supporting them, because they have been at the property and have seen how well the dogs are cared for. The owners managed to save two of their dogs, who the SPCA vet said had severe ear infections, yeast infections, and weight problems. The owners then took their dogs to their own vet, who said that there was no yeast infections, mild ear problems that was easily treated at home, and that the weight issue just meant that the dog was an easy keeper. The SPCA is a strong corporation, and fighting them is just the owners word against theirs. It is a lose lose situation. Who cares if they make some money off of the dogs, people do it with cattle and other animals all the time. People sell children for heavens sake. The owners did nothing wrong. If all the dogs were spayed and neutered like the SPCA wants, where would the joy of dogs go?? Would you ever again see the joy and sparkle in a childs eyes when it recieves a new puppy? Would you ever again see the happiness a dog brings to people? NO!!!
Debbie Goodine, the SPCA officer involved is a liar that has a personal issue with dog breeders. I dont know how she can sleep at night, knowing the lies that she has told, is putting someone through such emotional turmoil. Someone should talk to the police officer involved in the seizure and ask him for his opinion on what went on, then you would learn the facts.

I am so shocked that I don't even know where to start!!!I also know these people that had those puppies. They are good and kind people!! They took great pride in their kennels and they were always cleaning, doctoring, and exercising their dogs. The way that the SPCA has handled this situation is appalling! These dog owners were doing everything that they knew how to run a nice clean and RESPECTABLE kennel with children going in and out playing with these dogs constantly. I have known them for many years and never have I seen any animals abused in their care..EVER! These people are devastated with all that has happened in the last few weeks and are completely astonished that they were made to feel like common criminals when they are respectable members of this community. The dogs that were sick were being doctored and cared for. I have seen her doctoring them and keeping them in the house until they were well. The kennels are roomy, heated, ventilated, ceiling fan, music etc.. always being cleaned and kept in tip top shape. I can't believe that it was not good enough in the eyes of the SPCA. Maybe if the SPCA concentrated on people who truly abused and neglected animals...tying them up, hurting them, not feeding or doctoring them then we could truly help abused animals but to pick on people that are truly trying and truly care is so hard to take. It has all been blown way out of proportion and it truly makes me think twice about how the SPCA works. I will never again support the SPCA in anyway after witnessing the way they truly work!!! I also personally know the people who own the kennel and I strongly feel that they had an excellent kennel. Their animals are extremely friendly and were all pets to their children. I can't believe the devistation that this family has gone through because of someones personal opinion. I have dog shit in my yard too... Do you want to come take my dogs away? I have been there numerous times and never once saw anything wrong with the kennel. I think people have to much time on their hands and should mind their own business. You should beleive nothing that you hear and if the people that reported them were truley concerned about this particular situation then maybe they should have spoke up and talked to them personally. I think that the people who work for the SPCA should join forces with social services because there are children out there that live in worse situations than a dog kennel! We should all spend more time on things that truley matter in this world and not taking away some ones pets and their dignity for the love of their animals.
