Can anyone adopt Rupert, a miniature Schnauzer at the Vancouver Pound? *LINK* *PIC*

I have just seen the most saddest little dog in the Vancouver Pound, his name is "Rupert" I saw his photo in the Vancouver Sun. Can anyone adopt Rupert so that I know that he goes to a good home.

Here is his write-up from the Vancouver Pound's site:

Rupert may be the CUTEST dog ever to sport a bandana (at least we think so!) This charming, sweet guy is looking for his forever home. He's not really "senior/senior", maybe around 6 or 7, so he still very much enjoys walks, but doesn't have that hyper energy of young dogs. He is social with all people and other dogs too!

We believe Rupert may have been abandoned by his previous owners as he does have a health concern. He has Cushings and will need daily meds for the rest of his life. Initially, Cushings does require several blood tests ongoing, until the medication can be stabilized which takes 6 month to a year approx. The initial testing for Cushings can be costly, but wer'e hoping we can find a loving home willing to help little Rupert out! It is sad to think this delightful dog may not get a chance at a forever home due to his medical condition. He tries very hard to be the best dog he can be, and we'd love to see him get a loving home for the rest of his days.

Please be advised that our dogs are strays, so we do not have any background history on them. To meet any of the dogs, please visit the Vancouver Animal Control Shelter (VACS) at 1280 Raymur Avenue in Vancouver, or call 604-87--6885.
