Animal Advocates Watchdog

Seattle DogSpot blog: I’m still waiting for the BC SPCA to retract its statement that sled dogs are “not highly adoptable animals” *LINK*

So here’s my question – If BC SPCA thinks that sled dogs are so difficult to adopt after they are retired from pulling sleds, what does it think should happen to them?

Another great article about how easily career sled dogs make the transition to house pets. This one is from the Bangor (ME) Daily News.

I’m still waiting for the BC SPCA to retract its statement that sled dogs are “not highly adoptable animals”. I continue to see articles proving that sled dogs can be great house pets, and other than a statement from an unnamed source, BC SPCA provides no evidence to back up its misguided statement.

So here’s my question – If BC SPCA thinks that sled dogs are so difficult to adopt after they are retired from pulling sleds, what does it think should happen to them?
