BC's Chief Vet says wild birds don't need to be watched
VANCOUVER (CKNW/AM980) -- BC's chief veterinarian says it won't be necessary to monitor wild birds in the Fraser Valley because of the Avian flu outbreak.
Doctor Ron Lewis says they think the bird flu started when a lower risk form in waterfowl made it to a farm and mutated into the virus that is killing chickens.
But since the initial outbreak experts believe humans spread the bird flu to other farms
