Chortyk's publisized comments provide the donating public with a glimpse of the real B.C. SPCA

""I think there's a lot of knee-jerk reaction in some places and it would be a shame if people made decisions based on a lot of letters to council," Chortyk added."

Delta city council listened to the people who voted them into office, and that's why we vote people into office, in the hopes they will listen and act on our concerns.

The B.C. SPCA has been widely critisized for being an undemocratic organization. Chortyk's comments come across as insulting, critical, abrasive and intimidating which comes as no surprise as this is how the SPCA head office and board of directors often act with regards to others behind closed doors.
