Classic SPCA. No one will ever know

What indeed ever became of the study? How much was Locke paid? Was there money left over? Where did it go? What did the Board of Directors decide to do with the report?

Clearly, not to finally put a mobile spay/neuter van on the road, after about ten years of mentioning in the media many times this expensive (please send us money)and real solution to all the killing the SPCA does.

The SPCA knows better than anyone just how many puppies and kittens die of parvo and distemper, of parasites like lice and fleas, and of plain old starvation, on BC Reserves. It knows better than anyone that thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens and dogs and cats are shot, run over, hung, and drowned on BC Reserves.

It has $20 million in revenues and lots of money for a Petcetera "shuffle-mobile", which only sells more product faster, and does nothing to ease the flood of pitiful product.

It has $20 million in revenues and lots of money to sue AAS using one of Vancouver's most expensive law firms, but not enough money to stop the killing that it is suing AAS for telling about.

There is no way to know where the SPCA actually gets its money from and where it goes, because the SPCA has not produce audited statements, and not even statements of any kind for 2002 and 2003 (as of August).

The government of BC is helping the SPCA to get away with this. The SPCA must be investigated, publicly.

Where is the $23,000 report on implementing a spay/neuter mobile van to stop the carnage on Reserves?
