There are two online petitions regarding cruelty cases involving rabbits. In one, a rabbit called Lucky had dynamite taped to her and was thrown into a lake while her former owner and a friend stood by with a videocam to tape the results.

The other refers to the "Hayward" cruelty case where rabbits were found living among decaying corpses in an outdoor enclosure littered with debris, gas cans and junk. Almost all of the rabbits had varying degrees of wounds and a range of infections. They had no food. Their water bowls were covered with algae.

Both these cases will be coming up for hearings in mid November, and the more people who sign the petitions before then, the better.
